A label has very little space to do a lot of work: attract attention, name the product, explain the variant and carry all the information the law requires. We design labels that stay clear and attractive while fitting everything in.
Who product label design is for
Label design is for products sold in standard containers — bottles, jars, tubs, tins and boxes — where the label is the main branding surface: oils, honey, pickles, sauces, cosmetics, cleaning products and supplements. If you also need the carton, pouch or full pack designed, see packaging design.
- Labels that look homemade next to branded competitors
- Mandatory text crowding out the brand and product name
- Each variant designed separately, so the range does not match
- Labels that wrinkle, wrap badly or hide key text on curved containers
Front label and back label
The front label sells; the back label informs. We design both together so the brand is consistent and the mandatory information — ingredients, nutrition, net quantity, manufacturer details, batch and dates, regulatory logos — is easy to read and correctly placed.
Material and finish
Label design depends on how it will be printed. We plan for the stock (paper, BOPP, transparent), finishes such as foil or matte varnish, and how the label wraps around the container so key elements are never lost on a curve.
- Wrap-around and front/back labels
- Shrink sleeves
- Transparent 'no-label' look designs
- Variant and flavour systems

Product Label Design — frequently asked questions
Do you write the regulatory text on labels?
We lay out the mandatory information clearly and flag what is required, but the content itself (ingredients, nutrition values, licence numbers, claims) must come from you and be verified against the regulations that apply to your product.
Can you design labels for multiple variants?
Yes. We create a label system so each variant is easy to identify while the range still looks like one brand.
